  • Trench 3 was located along the northern field boundary, and measured 25 x 1.9m. Ditch feature F301 (a continuation of ditch feature F104 recorded in Trench 1) was identified in this area, extending beyond the trench edge in aNNW – SSE direction. It also had sharp sides and slightly irregular base, and was filled by mid grey brown sandy clay (3003).
