Short Description:
Fill of posthole
Issued to
Ed Caswell | 26/09/2016
1872

Interpretation

    • The fill of a posthole although its temporal location depends on interpreting the missing subsoil above this context
      • Ed Caswell
    • 28-9-2016
    • Fill of a post hole, the top of the fill will have been removed in the initial trench cleaning as in section the feature was revealed to be cut the subsoil (25002). This suggests that the post dug into the subsoil with some soil used as packing above (25014) or the post was removed and the hole filled in after the formation of the subsoil. In either instance this is a very late feature.
