- The monastic rere dorter wall (8014) was first built during the monastic use of the site. Post-dissolution the reredorter was reused as a farm outbuilding, possibly as a piggery, and a door (F803) was cut into the wall. This door was subsequently blocked in two phases, firstly with poorly constructed blocking materials comprising stones, flint nodules and CBM possibly originating from the Monastic phase of the building (8011). This initial blocking phase left a semi-circular space at the top of the door, presumably as a window, which was later blocked up with English coursed brick bonded with cement (8012).
