Dating Narrative
-
- The reconstructed drain feature (F801) was constructed by the Ministry of Works after the excavations led by Valarie Fenwick in 1984. The feature is built of flint nodules and occasional brick that are assumed to have been part of the original monastery walls. These have been bonded, and fixed onto the natural layer with the use of concrete.
