- Gully feature F1101 was oriented SW-NE. The gully had a slight inclination, being 200mm on the SW end and 160mm at the NE end. Two excavation cuts were made into the feature [11005 & 11020], revealing fills of dark brownish grey sandy clay with occasional charcoal flint and chalk inclusions (11006) and dark brownish grey sandy silt with inclusions of chalk and charcoal flecks and small pieces of flint (11021).

Dating Narrative

- Fill (11006) was dated to c. 1600-c.1800 AD through the recovery of a complete post-medieval cast lead musket ball, which was probably used in a pistol.
