Short Description:
Lower Fill of feature 2801
Issued to
Caroline Hoyes | 21/09/2016
Interpretation
-
- as with context 28006 this layer (while clearly being a sepereate event to 28006) represents a period of infilling of feature 28001. This was not for the purpose of depositing a coherent midden as the material culture is far too diffuse for such a deposit. This can be compared to context 28014 which does appear to be a coherent period of depositing solely refuse.
