Short Description:
Mud brick surface
Issued to

Interpretation
-
- This layer was incredibly compact and had a diffuse layer of mudbriecks (although some on the eastern edge of trench 28 where dense enough to be suggestable as a coherent surface). As such it is possible that the area east of context 28018 was a coherent compact capping surface of feature 28001. This sealed the earlier filling episodes and might have been used either as a firm and level foundation for human activity or to seal the features north of context 28018
