Short Description:
Cobbled surface
Issued to
Rita Baker | 18/07/2015
Interpretation
-
- This cobbled surface appeared to abut one side of limestone blocks found in the centre of the trench. Similar in character to (1809) this has the appearance of a surface or hard standing, potentially supporting the idea that this related to a driveway with associated gatehouse structure.
