Short Description:
Chalk mortar levelling layer (East)
Issued to
Raksha Dave | 23/09/2016
1857

Interpretation

    • Chalk mortar render used as a levelling layer and building platform after the destruction of the earlier phase of building of the abbey - overlies earlier floor surfaces and structures (26016). Also probably same as (26010) however this is truncated by [26009] so direct relationships with these surfaces are lost.
