Short Description:
Burnt cracked surface under pea gravel 4081
Issued to
David Wallace | 26/08/2020
748

Interpretation

    • Initially interpreted as an intact portion of a floor surface, upon further excavation the feature appeared to be discreet and could have represented an area of burning or a hearth. Micromorph sample 17 was taken from this layer which may aid our understanding of it once analysed.
