- N-S running gully in the east of trench 4, cut into (4091)

Narrative

- A narrow shallow N-S running gully seen at the eastern most edge of trench 4. It was seen cutting the natural and alluvial layer (4091) so is possibly a later feature, maybe it is related to the Roman features in the west of the trench. There was however nothing to date the feature in the fill, just a couple of pieces of animal bone.
