Short Description:
Cut of NE-SW aligned ditch
Issued to

Interpretation

    • Cut of an NE-SW aligned linear ditch. Possibly an earlier phase than the main structure in trench 4 as it appears to be cut by wall 4162 and the ditch has an upper fill of rubble that looks to be contemporary with the demolition of the structure. Perhaps this rubble was used as a drainage aid for the ditch or simply to finally backfill it and level off
