    • Neonate. Interred in a flexed foetal position, lying on its right side at one end of an oval pit or grave. Moderate preservation: 95% complete (skull, dentition, torso, pelvis, L&R legs, feet, arms and hands). Sex: n/a No pathological changes noted. (Natasha Powers, 2019)

Description

  • Lying on right side, facing west, foetal position
  • Tucked down, facing west
  • Arm under head, pointed north, hand under chin
  • Arm bent , lying along top of body. Humerus running west along top of body, radius and ulna running nw , hand forward of legs
  • Under body, bent, more so than left leg, femur running nne, radius and ulna running broadly west
  • Flexed, knee facing north
  • Found, but couldn’t determine attitude
  • Skull reasonably completely, bone well preserved
  • Mostly complete, most long bones with one break
