Narrative

    • A probable boundary ditch running north to south and then turning east to west in the south west of trench 4. It was cut by ditch F#942 and F#499. It was about 38 meters long, and at the south western end it was 1.08 meters wide and 0.20 meters deep. By the north eastern end it was recut, the initial cut was narrow and v shaped (0.35 meters wide, 0.35 meters deep), the later cut was much wider and more like that seen in the southern end (1.93 meters wide and 0.35 meters deep). It was also cut by a north to south running ditch F#899.
