Narrative

    • A large deep Roman pit located by the western limit of excavation in trench 4. The pit was 1.78 meters long, 1.40 meters wide and was at least 1.67 meters deep, when excavation was stopped. The pit contained 4 fills. In the upper fill a complete Roman pot was found.
