Narrative

    • A heavily truncated probable Roman burial, what was left of the skeleton was articulated, though it was just the right arm, pelvis and left leg. It was aligned south to north, the head, had it survived, would have been to the south. The burial may have been truncated away by modern ploughing. The grave cut had a length of 1.08m, a width of 0.91m and a depth of 0.10m. This burial cut an earlier gully F#521.
