Narrative

    • A short ephemeral stretch of gully located to the north of trench 5. It ran for 3.75 meters, and was truncated by a probable Roman burial F#525 and an Iron Age pit F#524. It had a maximum width of 0.42 meters and a maximum depth of 0.09 meters. There is a possibility that it is the same ring gully as F#517 but that is unlikely and unfortunately cannot be confirmed as there is a break in the ditch. Both are very ephemeral.
