Narrative

    • A roman ditch running for 26 meters in the east of trenches 5 and 6. Four interventions were made into the feature, three of which were investigating relationships. These slots showed that the ditch was relatively shallow with a maximum depth of 0.27 meters. The relationship slots revealed that this feature truncated all others, pits F#523, 540 and 560 and gully F#517. The function of the ditch is unknown, but it's most likely a boundary ditch.
