  • Josh is an archaeological consultant and lithic specialist focusing on the Palaeolithic. He holds a DPhil in Archaeology from University of Oxford, MSc in Palaeoanthrology and Palaeolithic Archaeology and BSc in Archaeology from UCL. He is the Treasurer and Membership Secretary of the Lithic Studies Society. His primary research interests lie in the origins of fire and he is currently undertaking experimental work identifying fire-use in the archaeological record for ‘Pathways to Ancient Britain’ project, funded by the Calleva Foundation, and based at the Natural History Museum and British Museum.
