Narrative

    • A ring ditch seen in the middle of the building area, truncated by the robbing events. Indicates that there were earlier roundhouses in the area where the villa had been built. Only 3.00m of the ring ditch was seen running from column base F971 south west to the robbed out wall F906. It was 0.34m wide and only 0.03m deep.
