- This feature has been interpreted as a robbed out column base, the robber cut measured 1.42m long, 1.10m wide and 0.74m deep. It was filled with poorly sorted limestone/chalk rubble. The column base is one of 7 uncovered probably forming part of a winged corridor villa. This robbed out column base cut earlier pits including [9080]. The date of the robbing event is unknown however it is likely it took place in the 5th Century or later.
