Narrative

    • A north south running ditch in the hexagon area of trench 2. It ran the length of this area of the trench through to the northern part of trench 2 and is possibly the same ditch as F930 in trench 4. In this area there was a run of 10.50m, it was 1.38m wide and 0.78m deep. It is probably a boundary ditch and likely Roman. It was cut by a small pit F363 and cut a larger Iron Age pit F364.
