- A small shallow pit, probably Iron Age, it was located adjacent to the corn dryer F300 in trench 3. It was 0.85m long, 0.77m wide and 0.07m deep. Only partially excavated to understand the relationship between other features in the area, this pit cuts another pit F305 (which cuts ring gully F307) and a post hole F304, making it the latest feature within the slot
