Interpretation

- Cut of a ring ditch for an Iron Age roundhouse, at this point the ring ditch was revealed after the excavation of the robbing events for the Roman building and the silting layer (here (9001)). It is the continuation of a ring ditch that was seen in the ring ditch system for the roundhouses located to the east of the building in trench 4.
