Lower fill of pit [9104] by northern baulk towards centre of villa

Interpretation

    • Basal fill of an Iron Age storage pit, the fill was firmer and contained more chalky flecks and stones than the upper fill. There were occasional pieces of pottery and a large scapula probably from a cow within this fill.
