Interpretation

    • Infant / juvenile skeleton, found in extended supine position. A large amount of the skeleton is missing : pelvis, arms, falangies etc. Some crushing to the skull. Perhaps poor preservation may be the result of disturbance through bioturbation.

Description

  • Extended supine.
  • North facing, lain on side - may be result of crushed impact from sediment.
  • Lying beside body - not much surviving, no hands surviving.

  • Several toe bones surviving from left foot, no remains of right foot apparent.
  • Some degeneration, but overall moderate survival. Some crushing to skull and other surviving parts .
  • Fairly good state of survival. Skull has some breakages which were preexisting.
  • Not many parts of the skeleton surviving. Juvenile/infant skeleton.
