Skeleton within E/W alligned grave [4660].

Interpretation

    • Possible adult skeleton contained within grave [4660], skeleton has good preservation. May have been wrapped in a shroud, due to the tight crossed positioning of the upper torso & arms, a few nails were found around the body also. The grave cut was lined with some rough stones, which have been marked as within fill due to the roughness of the 'lining', this may have been decorative, or even maybe to hold down a shroud? Unknown.
