Interpretation
-
- Spread over the top of ditch [4640]. Originally thought to be a top fill of the ditch, however it appears to spread beyond the ditch over a cluster of pits also. Slots elsewhere in the ditch may demonstrate the spread is there as well. The spread could also be spread from the pit [4646] due to the simiraility of the fills.
