Short Description:
Cut of N-S ditch
Issued to

Interpretation
-
- cut of a N-S aligned potentially roman boundary/enclosure ditch, steep sided and funnelling down to a narrow flat base. This ditch runs the full length of the hexagonal area of excavation forming part of trench 2. It is also possibly visible in other trenches across site, although further excavation would be needed to confirm if this was indeed the same ditch.
