- It was offered! It was last minute, but I figured if I waited until the next one I would never have known if I liked it. The other one was a community one, and this was an opportunity to dig with CRM archaeologists from Europe who love archaeology even more than we do. AVAR recommended it and said they’d worked with them before and that they’re really, really great. Yes I would definitely come again.
- The people! It was really fun to meet everybody and talk. You get to meet people from all walks of life and hear their story. The experience was wonderful and I feel I got a holistic approach to how this all works. I got to survey, dig, draw, dumpy level thing.
