  • In real life, I am an adjunct professor for German at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. I have taken many online archaeology courses with the University of Oxford where I met my friend Patricia. I have taken courses with other universities, and archaeology has become something of a hobby. I have participated in one other dig in the Philadelphia area where we worked on an old farm that was rumored to have been part of the Underground Railroad. I loved it!

I decided to support the dig at Darrow because in my opinion, it is important to get a better understanding of the Shakers and their fascinating culture. I'm sure their story can enrich our lives today, and it is money well spent.
