  • Episcopal priest serving on the diocesan staff and responsible for adult education.
  • I have a background in archaeology with a focus on ancient Israel. I also have a long-standing interest in the Shakers, going back to my first visit to the Shaker village at Pleasant Hill, Kentucky over 30 years ago
  • I enjoyed my time and I learned many things, my fav part was working with the artifacts, especially ceramics. My fav find was a toss up between the clay pipe and the ceramic bowl. I think I would do the finds room again although I did enjoy seeing the stuff in the ground, that was cool. I didn’t learn new info about the shakers, but I consider myself more knowledgeable about the Shakers than most people. I would like to save up and go to a UK dig, but it’s a toss up, that or Shakers!
