Description
- Limestone blocks
- variable, extending from small cobbles designed to infil between courses to large undressed boulders up to 1m long.
- Roughly dressed
- drystone, with mortar render in places
- Rectangular wall footing for wooden super structure
- structure orientated north-south (length) and east-west (width), with internal faces of cellar exposed, and external faces buried by bank material/terraced.
- No bonding material
- Overall dimensions of the structure are approximately: Length (N-S) - 10m Width (E-W) - 7.5m Depth - up to 1.4m Individual stone dimensions variable
- Structure also identified as F301
