- We dug at Oldbury--on-Severn last year and enjoyed the experience, so have come back for more. We want to be part of the discovery of British history and our heritage. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the DigNation event at Lindisfarne in September, and chose the dig at Coldingham as it looks really interesting. - It’s bizarre, but being welcomed back, getting a hug from Johanna when I saw her again. Meeting local people and digging with people who love the area. I didn’t think I’d get as attached to the dig as I have done.
