Narrative

    • A post hole in the south western corner of trench 4, it was just to the south of ditch F423, and next to post hole F447. It was 0.40m in diameter and 0.35m deep. The post hole contained 2 fills, the upper was a silting deposit made up of grey brown sandy silt, within this fill a base fragment of pottery was recovered, the lower fill seemed like more of a mixed deposit with the natural.
