Narrative

    • A pit cutting the ditches running ne-sw in the east of trench 4. It was 1.60m long, 1.20m wide and 0.20m deep. It may have been clay lined as a the basal fill was predominantly a greeny grey clay, but this could have been caused by standing water in the base of the pit.
