Narrative

    • A short length of gully in the middle of the south of trench 4. It ran from the southern baulk for 4.30m to the north east before terminating. It had a maximum width of 0.45m and a maximum depth of 0.20m. It is probably drainage associated with the trackway ditches running ne-sw in the eastern half of the trench.
