Narrative

    • A linear feature in the south west corner of trench 4, it runs from the south west corner to the north for 4 meters and then makes a sharp turn to the east and goes for 5 meters before terminating or being fully truncated away by pit F421. It had a maximum width of 1.00m and a maximum depth of 0.65m. This feature may have been a small enclosure, possibly related to or enclosing a pit F412. A fragment of grey ware was recovered from one of the slots dating to the 2nd-4th century AD.
