- A shallow remnant of an earlier feature which had been truncated by the cut of the boundary ditch (109). This earlier ditch may represent an earlier phase of the boundary ditch, more sinuous in form than the ditch which truncates it. It may equally represent a discrete pit feature as it was only observed in one section dug through the ditch.
