Contexts
Narrative
-
- A medium sized, sub-ovoid pit. This probable refuse pit was dug into the relict soil and produced metal, ceramic and bone artefacts. Having been infilled, this feature appeared to have probably been covered by a cobbled surface.

-
- The pit truncated the trackway ditch and may have been contemporary with the enclosure ditch. F102 was a probable refuse pit dug into the relict soil. Having been infilled (1026), the feature appeared to have been intentionally covered with cobbles (1019) which may represent the capping or levelling-up of the pit.
