Short Description:
Stone fill at bottom of ditch [1004]
Issued to
Stephen Hutchinson | 27/06/2019
24

Interpretation

    • Probable single event deposition of stone into the lower extents of the ditch for an unknown purpose. The stones were accumulated along the southern edge of the ditch against the cut and therefore may be the result of tumble or dumping from the south side of the ditch. This does not, however account for their origin.
