Short Description:
Upper fill of pit [4048] F419
Issued to
Andree Welsh | 28/10/2020

Interpretation
-
- Upper fill of a pit in the south of trench 4. Possibly a post pit but not sure, there was a 'dump' of larger stones in the top of the fill with none in the rest of the pit. They don't seem to be forming an obvious post pipe. Pot sherds from this fill were predominantly from in and around the large stones with some lower down.
