Interpretation
-
- Possible silting fill of roman pit. In some places this fill was very loose and disturbed. Small voids became visible upon excavation within this fill that were interpreted as evidence of animal burrowing

- sandy silt
- 10% charcoal flecks, occasional small sub angular stones
- Length - 2.00m to LOE Width - 1.80m to LOE Thickness - 0.15m
- Ephemeral charcoal spread measuring 0.70m x 0.40m within this fill
- Mattock/Dry
