Contexts
Narrative
-
- A pit [6010] was cut into the natural mound surrounded by a ring cairn. An inverted urn that had been filled with the cremated remains of at least one individual was then placed within this pit. The mouth of the urn had been sealed with a clay plug to prevent the remains from spilling when it was placed within the grave. The urn was then buried and covered with two stone slabs.
