  • I lecture in human-computer interaction and in data science at the University of Wales Trinity St David in Swansea. Off-duty I do a lot of needlework and glasswork, and regularly give talks to clubs and conventions about astronomy, astrophysics and the space programme.
  • I grew up visiting historic sites from an early age and was bitten by the archaeology bug when I saw the Tutankhamun exhibition in London and visited a Roman dig in Ravenglass as a child. Getting involved in DigVentures has allowed me to support archaeology in a practical way and to get my hands dirty again.
